Chapter 33

Thursday arrived quickly and it was time for the Lemieux family to come for tea, Sidney was very nervous about telling Mario that he was hoping to move out. We knew that he would understand but it was still going to be hard telling him as they had opened their house to Sidney and welcomed him with open arms when he was still just a young teenager.

After our meal we all sat out in the conservatory watching the winter draw in and making the most of our day off.

“Sid, what is wrong with you, you have been in a strange mood all evening?” Mario asks.

“As you know Gill and I have been spending a lot of time together lately and are very much in love.

“Mario, I want to thank you and you family for welcoming me in to your home and for making me feel as if I was part of your family but I think now is time for me to move out. Gill has asked me to stay here with her and I would like to take her up on that offer.” Sidney said as he held on to my hand so tightly and looked right into Mario’s eyes.

“Sid, what do you think I am going to say, that you are not allowed to move out? We are very happy for you and so pleased that you and Gill are happy together and want to take your relationship a step further.”

“Thanks Mario, I was just nervous, you have been so good to me and I did not want you to think I was letting you down.”

“You are definitely not letting me down, I am very proud of you Sidney.” I knew when Sidney heard those words that he would relax and feel happy about his decision. Having Mario’s blessing is one of the most important things to him.

The rest of the evening we ended up playing some board games and discussing Sidney moving at the weekend when we had a few days without a game.

Ok, Gil. But can you please just tell Traci to stop talking on the board? She is lame and no one wants to hear her crap. Just tell her that I said so on behalf of many people. If she keeps getting complaints about her she will be banned. She can go somewhere else.
