Chapter 19

We sat talking for a while longer reassuring each other of all the questions we had about our new found relationship. As much as we wanted to spend tonight together we decided it would be best for Sidney to go home and we would see each other again tomorrow after training.

As I skate about the ice warming up I suddenly remember that Sidney and I never discussed if we were going to be open about our relationship so I thought I would leave it up to him, I did not know if he would want his team mates to know that we were together.

However, my confusion soon disappeared. As soon as Sidney arrived on the ice he came over and kissed me good morning, there were only a handful of the other guys around and at the time and no photographers, they all started clapping. I started laughing and skated away with a bright red face. The guys all told me throughout the morning that they were happy that Sidney and I were finally together, I appreciate their support.

Training went well again today, I have such a good feeling about the Stanley Cup this year and I really believe these guys can win it for the second year running.
