Chapter 26

The next couple of days I spent trying to split my time between the office, Sidney and my family before the training started again.

The following week it was time for my family to leave, it would not be long before they were back again and this time for good. They all had start dates of 1^st September and it was already the middle of July so they would be here again very soon.

Training soon went back to normal and it was as if we had never been on holiday.

Sidney and I were spending more and more time together and getting closer by the day.

It is now 1^st August and Sidney and I have been together for 4 months and it is only a week until his 22^nd birthday. We were lying on the sofa together watching a film when suddenly he turned round and started kissing me, it started off gently but it quickly became more passionate.

“Gill, I think I am ready” Sidney announces as he pulls away from our kiss, “I am petrified that I mess this up but I don’t want to wait any longer.”

“Are you sure you want to do this, I am prepared to wait until you are 100% ready Sidney, I love you and I know that you will be ready at some point”. I knew what he was talking about without him needing to explain. By this time he had sat up and was playing with the end of my hair.

“I have never been more ready Gill, I want to do this”.
